High-Energy Obstacle & Strength Training for Kids Ages 5–12

If your child climbs everything, jumps off furniture, rolls across the floor, and never sits still… Ninja is probably their favorite class waiting to happen.

Ninja at GymKix blends:
• Gymnastics strength
• Martial arts-style kicking
• Obstacle course challenges
• Controlled freestyle movement

It’s structured training disguised as pure fun.

Kids leave sweaty, stronger, and proud of what they just accomplished.

What Actually Happens in a Ninja Class?

Every class follows a clear structure:

1. Dynamic Warm-Up
We get moving immediately with strength and coordination drills.

2. Skill Training
Kids learn safe rolls, kicks, landings, balance skills, and beginner flips (age appropriate).

3. Obstacle Course Challenge
Climbing, swinging, jumping, crawling, and conquering progressively designed obstacles.

4. Character & Focus Moment
We reinforce effort, discipline, and respect before wrapping up.

This is not free play.
It’s structured, coach-led, high-energy training.

Why Kids Love Ninja

• They get to kick and move like their favorite video game characters
• They conquer obstacle courses
• They learn to break boards (yes, really)
• They feel powerful
• They feel successful

For many kids, Ninja is the first activity where they truly feel strong.

What Parents Love

Ninja helps kids:

• Improve total body coordination
• Build real strength
• Increase agility and balance
• Channel big energy into focus
• Develop discipline without pressure

Instead of “sit still,” we teach kids how to move with control.

How Ninja Is Different From Martial Arts

While martial arts often focus on forms and sparring, Ninja focuses on:

• Movement and obstacle mastery
• Strength through gymnastics-based training
• Continuous activity (less standing in lines)
• Controlled challenges in a safe environment

No long-term contracts.
No intimidation.
Just structured progress and visible growth.

Progression & Levels

Ninjas progress through headband levels:

White → Yellow → Green → Blue → Purple

Each level builds skill AND character.
Kids advance as they demonstrate strength, coordination, and understanding of our core values.

Progress keeps them motivated and excited to return.

Age Groups

Little / Kickstart Ninjas (5–6.5 yrs.)
Foundational movement, balance, and listening skills.

Ninja White & Up (6.5–12 yrs.)
Obstacle training, kicks, rolls, strength, and progression through levels.

Not Sure If Ninja Is Right for Your Child?

Book a Ninja Trial Class and let your child experience it firsthand.

They’ll move.
They’ll sweat.
They’ll conquer something.

And you’ll know if it’s the right fit.
